Description:
Lean, boneless pork loin chops are quickly pan-sauteed with strips of onions and bell peppers. A sweet & sour sauce featuring pineapple tops it all off.
Cooking Instructions
Thaw completely in refrigerator. Heat a heavy-duty skillet (preferably non-stick) with 1 tsp of vegetable oil in it. When oil is hot, carefully add pork to pan. Sauté until golden brown on each side and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes per side. Remove pork from pan and set aside, covered to keep warm. In same pan, add 1 teaspoon oil and carefully add bag of onions and peppers. Stir-fry briefly, about 3-5 minutes until veggies are heated through. Add contents of pineapple bag and cook, stirring, until thickened, about 2-3 minutes. Taste (careful, it’s hot!) and add salt if desired. Pour sauce over plate of chops and serve with starch and veggies of your choice.
