Orange Zest and Sugar Crusted Salmon

Description:

Salmon is covered with a sugar, soy, orange mixture.  Tangy and sweet, it gets raves! 

Cooking Instructions

Thaw completely in refrigerator.  Remove salmon from bag and place on a plate.  Place 1/6th of the ginger on each filet and distribute evenly.  Sprinkle each filet with basil. Press sugar into the ginger and basil.  Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a sauté pan over medium high heat.  Sauté filets sugar-side down about 2-3 minutes. Quickly add the soy mixture to pan.  Turn over the fillets. Reduce heat to medium.  Remove Salmon placing it in warm oven. Simmer the sauce until thickened. Pour thickened sauce on salmon and serve with your favourite rice and veggies.
